Boo! D:

Sometime around 1998 Creature Labs released a Halloween object pack.  As that season approaches, and Albia has graced our screens once more, it was only fitting to reproduce the Halloween pack.

There are two agents in the package.  One for C2toDS, to decorate your world just as it was in C2, and one for Docking Station to liven up your Meso.

All the objects of the pack have been remade and altered, with a few additions, namely the pots and wind-up-bat toy you see above.

Some of the objects can be quite frightening, so expect to see a lot of scared creatures if you install these cobs! :)

  4. I love this pack, especially the corn candy, and the new voice for the doozer :)

You equally make decoration all over Albia (comparably to his C2 version), that are so wonderful!

    Thank you soo much!!!

  6. Will there be a C3 one? And do the skelatons do anything to your norns? I'm worried to find out.

  7. The skeletons don't do anything to norns but scare them. It's pretty much the same way with everything else in this pack.

    Also:
*******I do not make things for C3.*******
The engine doesn't handle half the codes I like to use, and it's too much of a bother to make them work. I've yet to see a point to make anything for C3 Stand-Alone either, since one can easily dock C3 to DS.

    Sorry.

  8. The other day, I was trying to set up a Halloween-based wolfling run and was trying to find some more appropriate food sources. This will fill that void quite nicely.

On another note: Piranhas are coded in such a manner that they ignore conventional logic and as such love to eat ghosts if you put the tombstone in their pool.

  9. LOL, piranhas really will try to eat anything!!!! XD

  10. Its awesome, but theres two things thats missing:
the witch and the walking pies O.o

btwn: is it supposed that the devil doozers are meant to sound like grendels now?

    ReplyDelete
  11. I noted the missing which too, but never saw pies in C2. And yes, the DDs are made to sound like grendels. They do in my game at least.

  12. The witch only appears if you inject the C2toDS version. She can't rightly fly around in the hub now can she? ;)

And it appears I did forget the pies...but that's ok, cause you'll see them again soon. :) Who has pies for Halloween anyway? XD

  13. Sad about the which. As for pie at hallowen, I for one do with my famaly. Also, are you saying there's going to be a thanksgiving pack? Hopefuly, it would go well in a wolfing :-D

  14. Do the skeleton pop up by themself now and then?
as far I can see, clicking on the gravestone makes them appear, but thats the only time, then they walk and vanish..
only the ghost seem to hang out longer and appear without clicking on grave stone.. loves the skeletons : (

remember also they made the drum sound when appearing..or vanish..erm something of it in c2..
is that in this ds version too?

the grendel voice for the devil doozer is a bit strange O.O

  15. Skeletons appear without the need for the user to create them. :)

  16. awesome, been keeping up with this project for awhile now, cant wait till its all complete, keep up the good work. Will this work with C1toDS? I tried injecting both and it only lets me use one at a time. Are you gonna make it so both can be injected in the same world together?

    ReplyDelete
  17. If I knew what the problem was, I'd make it work with C1toDS, but as of now there seems to be no real explanation as to why they won't work together. The engine just "gives up" halfway through injecting one or the other, as if it's reached a room limit. So no, C1toDS and C2toDS will not work together until if/when the problem can be identified and corrected.

  18. Okay thanks, its still gonna be awesome wether its incompatable with C1 or not, how much of C2toDS do you have completed? Like the incubator, boat and things like that.

  19. I don't know if we're prepared to give exact numbers (uh, mostly because we don't have them ourselves)--but I feel confident in saying "a fair portion."

Moe might feel differently, of course. ;)

  30. So, when's the next post coming out? Or is C22DS dead? And if so, could you post what you've got?

  31. Anon:
    Or is C22DS dead?

Or maybe it's just that Liam's (and probably Moe) been busy with the CCSF, + personal stuff?

  32. C2toDS is definitely not dead :)
